When to replace
If your windows are stiff, drop in the frame, or no longer open as wide as they once did, the friction hinges have likely worn or seized. We replace them with the correct stack height and weight rating so the sash sits flush and seals properly.
Fire-escape compliance
Building regulations require a fire-escape window in habitable rooms above ground level. We supply egress hinges that allow at least 450mm of unobstructed opening, restoring compliance without changing your frames.
