Broken / Misted Sealed Units
If your double-glazed window has misted up between the panes or cracked, the sealed unit can usually be replaced on its own without touching the frame.
Why units fail
Misting happens when the edge seal of a sealed unit perishes and lets moisture in between the panes. Once that happens the unit will never clear and the insulating gas has gone, so heat loss climbs as well. Replacement is the only real fix.
How we replace them
We measure your existing unit on a first visit, order the new glass to match and return to fit it. The old unit is removed, the rebate is cleaned, new spacer blocks and beads are fitted, and the window is tested before we leave.
