Door Servicing & Realignment
uPVC and composite doors slip out of alignment over time, leaving them stiff to close and difficult to lock. A short service visit usually puts that right without replacing the door.
What a service covers
We adjust the hinges to lift the door back into the frame, lubricate the gearbox, check the keeps and strikers, and replace the rubber gaskets if they have shrunk. The door should close with a single push and lock smoothly afterwards.
When parts need replacing
If the gearbox is worn or hinges are corroded, we will quote for replacement parts before fitting them. We carry common Yale, Avocet, ERA and Fuhr components on the van so most jobs are completed on the first visit.
